Beyond the Stage
In addition to her performance career, Fanny Lora has cultivated a dynamic teaching and leadership practice that spans music education, arts administration, and community engagement.
She is the founder of Fanny Lora Studio, where since 2018 she has offered private instruction in voice, piano, and Alexander Technique, while also producing national and international recital tours and biannual student performances.
Fanny has served as a Choral Director at the Performing Arts Center of Metrowest, where she led children’s ensembles and developed age-appropriate music curricula. At Boston City Singers, she managed four choirs, codified the organization’s music education curriculum within a youth development and social justice framework, and contributed her Alexander Technique expertise to support healthy vocal practices.
Her work with Boston Children’s Chorus included roles as a Teaching Fellow, Vocal Instructor, and Social Framework Liaison—combining musical training with student-centered social-emotional learning strategies. She also served as a Choral Teaching Artist for the Metropolitan Opera Guild, teaching in Spanish to early childhood students and designing multicultural, movement-based music lessons.
Through these diverse roles, Fanny has consistently woven together artistry, education, and cultural identity to empower students, develop inclusive programs, and foster vibrant musical communities.
