Join Fanny Lora (mezzo-soprano) and Yukiko Oba (Pianist) in celebrating the music and history of Andalucía (Spain), a territory that was held under Arab rule for nearly 800 years. During that time, the culture and the music of the southern states of Spain were infused with Arabian traditions. Music by Isidoro Hernández, Enrique Granados and Ruperto Chapí.
Andaluz is supported in part by a grant from the Framingham local cultural council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
